Nao Yoshioka to Release Her Debut Album, “The Light”, in the Benelux and Tour The Netherlands Beginning May 24th!

Nao Yoshioka, SoulTracks’ 2015 New Artist of the Year, is set to release her debut album “The Light” in the Benelux (Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg), on May 26th and tour The Netherlands beginning on May 24th.

Nao will perform four shows in The Netherlands, two as a special guest for Shrimp Rouse and her Soul Serenade Tour, and again for the amazing duo Young Gun Silver Fox (Andy Platts and Shawn Lee) at a sold out TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht.

She will also celebrate the release of her debut album at Amsterdam’s legendary Club Dauphine on May 31st. Shirma Rouse, the Dutch Queen of Soul, will make a special guest appearance while the dapper men, The Fresh Cuts, will provide the best sounds in town. Join Nao, Shirma, and The Fresh Cuts for a night of soulful sounds in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Nao Yoshioka, SoulTracks’ 2015 New Artist of the Year:

Nao has performed at a number of venues around the world including the Blue Note (NY), the legendary Birchmere (DC) where she opened for José James, Club Dauphine in The Netherlands where she shared the stage with saxophonist Candy Dulfer, and Hideaway, South London’s award-winning live music venue.

In the summer of 2016 Nao performed at her first major US music festival, Capital Jazz Fest, one of the largest festivals in the US along side legends like Lalah Hathaway and Marcus Miller.
